Mom-ba

We'll be back to our tale of Boston soon. (I have to get all my photos in the right place, first.) Today, we'll do a tale of veggies. You may know that Kira has no love of vegetables. For a while, she called them vengetables--she didn't even know what venge meant, but it worked so well as a word. She's outgrown calling veggies that, but she still doesn't like them. Imagine my surprise when she asked for a green smoothie. She tried peas blended with strawberries and bananas and liked it "okay." I suggested she try fruit with spinach. I often drink spinach in my own smoothies so I know from first-hand experience that spinach has a very mild flavor when blended with fruit.

We invented "Mom-ba." Not to be confused with Mambo or Jamba. We've been drinking the veggies for about a month or so. Kira still loves Mom-ba. However, she wouldn't let me take a picture of her drinking them. Tia would though!

I managed to get one of Nat, but it's blurry 'cause she was trying to not get photographed.

Mom-ba sounds more like a snake.

I like to open a can of spinach, warm it up and eat it like Popeye.
