The kitties want to play host, but we won't let them

Oh, it's just Nat's houseguest for the week. Patches is the class guinea pig at school and she's here visiting. She came for a weekend a couple of weeks ago and now she's back. Don't worry, she's in a separate room and the kitties aren't allowed in to see her. They would LIKE to meet her. But no. No, no, Noël. (Yes, Noël's nickname is No-no.)

A play day

We went to a kid's museum that we'd never been to before. It was fun, but it also showed us how much the girls are growing up. After the museum, we took a little walk by the bay. Like the family photo? (It probably won't be the one on the Christmas card this year. Poor little Tia is almost cut off.)

Cooking

Tia's been very into cooking and helping in the kitchen. Super fun.

Nat's birthday

She's 10! 10 years previously, she was much better at posing for pictures. (She's got a little Ian in her, we think.) We had to sneak this one while she was distracted opening a present of some new dragon videos. She is delighted!

Patches and Nat in the sunshine

We have the guinea pig visiting this week (the week off of school). Nat is so happy! She and Patches went out to play. Patches loved running around in grass.
