All I want for Christmas...

Where did we go?

It's the season... Not just the holiday season, but we have a whole slew of proposals due in January. Plus a couple of deliverables at the end of the year. Yup, it's crazy busy.

In fact, I can't believe it's the Christmas Season, so here are some Halloween pictures.

Today, there was a lovely rainbow....In the first picture you can see it with the fall leaves in the background.



Moments before I saw the rainbow, I had taken these pictures. Our poor magnolia tree is confused. It rained earlier this fall and then got warm. The tree thinks it is spring and has started blooming. Poor tree.

Chemistry

We did the famous baking soda and vinegar experiment. (The photo of Tia is AFTER the foaming goodness had gone away.) Kira wrote up what she learned from the experiment on a lab worksheet. She did this on her own. They do this in kindergarten. They write down their observations. I love it!

This was the kindergarten party. As it turned out, the schedule of the parties allowed Tia to attend all 3 parties. She was exhausted by the end of the day. Luckily, she wasn't sick from all the food!

Nat's and Tia's parades were at the same time. Nick went to Nat's and I went to Tia's. I'm so excited for all three to be at the same school next year!

Parade #1

We had 3 parades this year and 3 Halloween Parties at school. Tia got to attend all the parties--she was wiped out, and probably a little sugared out, at the end of it all. The first parade and party was Kira's. Here's Kira and Tia. Can you believe my girl who loves all things pretty, princess-y, pink, and precious chose this scary costume?
