Then, there was the surgery...

The cutest guy rolled into the OR.

Then, it was COLD..... (33 degrees outside, 61 degrees inside)

Then, there was pie!

To my family, love Natalie

I took these photos this morning with PhotoBooth and wanted to share. Blehg.

learning to read

One morning, when her sisters were already at school, Tia went to Starfall and practiced her letters. She had her alpha friends beside her. They make alpha friends at school for each letter. You can see C Callie Cat beside her as she goes through the letters on the computer. Mixed media learning is fun.

Climbing!

She makes it to the top, rings the bell and then poses.

She wants me to take a video of her climbing next time we go to a party at Pump It Up. I will! I was going to take a video, and I told her that, but then the party had to move to the next room.

A blast from the past

A long time ago, we used to have our web site. Every month, from the time Natalie was born until she was almost 5, I'd faithfully put pictures up there. Then one day, I fell dreadfully behind. I fell behind and then I decided a blog would be more fun than a web site.

I started this blog in 2007. I never caught up on those lost months. December 16, 2006 - May, 2007.

Tonight, I decided I should blog the happenings here, because, you know it's important to record this for posterity... Take a trip back to 12/2006. Nat was 4 years 11 months, Kira was 2 years 7 months, and little Tia was 15 months old.

In our first blast from the past post, we go back to December, 19 to see Natalie doing the Pre-K holiday show. Look at how little she is! Awwww.

My plan is to do a blast from the past post whenever I have time and EVENTUALLY, I'll get caught up and get all the pictures on the web.

Our newest book worm

She read over 130 pages of Harry Potter in one day, and the night is still young.

Halloween Homework

After Halloween, Tia's homework was to sort and graph 30 pieces of candy. She scored on the chocolate front! 19 pieces out of 30 were chocolate. Here's the girl hard at work.

Fall leaves

Tia found this leaf, it was bigger than her head, at lunch on Thursday. The girls had the day off from school so we went to where Nick works to enjoy lunch and all the other fun stuff.

First 4H meeting

Natalie and Tia went to their first 4H project meeting tonight. They chose pygmy goats. It was super fun. They got to feed, clean, and learn about goats.

The leader actually suggested that they climb over the pen so the goats don't escape when they go in when a leader isn't around. Climbing the is probably Tia's favorite part--she's been asking to climb fences for months, now. At school, she really wants to climb the chain link fence and I have to tell her she can't.
