Balance

This is from 8/2016 after the last 5K we ran.  The girls show tremendous balance.  I've always loved this picture and I don't know why I haven't posted it before.  (I'm pretty sure I haven't posted it before.)

Commentary:  it's a little ironic 'cause we have no balance right now.  Or maybe it's just me.  I anticipate that things will get less crazy by mid April.  Remember when I took that new job?  I knew I would love it.  I knew I would get to do new things and learn a lot.  I knew it would be insane for a while.  Yup.  That's where we are.  Life is good.  Life is full.  Life might be a little too full for me.  Fortunately, Nick is very balanced and the girls are super good at being in charge of and responsible for their work, and fortunately we have have Chelsea helping us do all the crazy things we do.

Also, Nono's foot isn't healed yet.  Things will be crazy with him for a little bit more.  Think good kitty thoughts for him.

Professional Pictures from the 5K

Pictures in a very random order... (Thanks blogger for making things difficult and I no longer care about the order because you make things so stupid...)

 I don't usually run 5Ks, but when I do, I make sure there's a professional photographer. (August, 2016)

Nat's finish (first among all of us who ran together) was obscured by this boy's head.

Ski Lessons

It snowed a little, was a little windy, but we were all warm enough and we had fresh powder; you can't beat that!

Drive up

It was about 58 to 60° in Denver, and this was less than an hour away!

Party (Midnight!)

Happy 2016!

We go to a super fun New Years Party where the girls and their friends have the time of their life.  Thank, Julie!

(Yes, they stay up until midnight and they love it! They have for 3 or 4 years... Before that they probably would have but we didn't go out to parties on NYE.)
