The teachers let them choose where they wanted to work. Tia and her friend chose here, but they did work--books and iPads were involved. About 6 groups were in the classroom and several were outside.

We do lots of  baking around here.  These are 

oatmeal-chocolate chip sunflower butter cookies.

Nat got the first cold of the school year.

Kira is going to be taking ballet at a new place this fall. 

It's a school with a professional track. 

She loves dancing and she taught herself how to do this.

She starts Wednesday.  This summer she took a camp there

where she danced 6 hours a day for 2 weeks. She says she's 

ready. 

5k

Last Saturday, Natalie and Tia ran in a 5k.

I didn't get a chance to tell you about one of the birthday presents Tia got.

She wanted a picture of Coale on a blanket and she got it.

This was Coale's reaction when he saw it.

He was FREAKED out by the huge black cat.

It's hard to see him, but there he is with a puffy tail and rather scared.
