Air train

A little out of order... Here we are on the train at the airport heading for skiing.  We have many shots of the girls doing this (sitting in front and looking out).  It's a tradition.

Traditional

Here's what they do EVERY time we go to Seattle / Tacoma.

(The next few days will be posts from our trip--blogging NOT real time.)

Party (Midnight!)

Happy 2016!

We go to a super fun New Years Party where the girls and their friends have the time of their life.  Thank, Julie!

(Yes, they stay up until midnight and they love it! They have for 3 or 4 years... Before that they probably would have but we didn't go out to parties on NYE.)

LATE: Walkathon 2011 (Photo of the week 15/52)

It was fun except Nat was sick and couldn't walk--very sad.

Photo of the week... Daddy and Kira walk together!

Kira walked 18 laps... Yay! Almost 4 miles (1 mile = 5 times around the track, we think.)

Tia did 10 laps!

Check out Kira!

Thanks Grandma F! (I need to find a picture of me in the dress!)

Nice dress!

A few years ago, Grandma F gave me a lot of the dresses she had made for me when I was a little girl. She spent a lot of time making them (I remember having to stand for fittings...it was tough standing still while she pinned!) I loved those dresses... they were so beautiful and involved some amazing sewing. As Natalie got closer to the age where she could fit in some of the dresses, she was not interested... She would never try any of them on. She isn't interested in clothes. (On the other hand, Kira is totally interested and will try them on when she is the right size!)

When we moved to our new house, Natalie saw the dress I wore to kindergarten and for some reason, she was intrigued by it. When I told her what it was, and when I had worn it (the first day of MY kindergarten) she decided she wanted to wear it. We decided she probably shouldn't wear it to kindergarten, but she wore it to the birthday party we attended on Saturday.

Here she is smiling for Grandma F. She loves this dress.
