Bee 2

 

Not sure what kind of Bee this is. 

It sits on top of the flower and gets the pollen/nectar by making a hole on the outside.  This one is a LOT bigger than the little honey bee.  (Maybe a type of bumble bee or carpenter bee...)

Not bad for an iPhone.  This little bee would go into a flower and try to find good stuff (not sure if it was pollen or nectar, guessing pollen)... if there was no good stuff left she would come out annoyed.  If there was good stuff, she'd stay for a while and then she'd fly out very happy.  It was super fun to watch her check out all the flowers.

We were so busy yesterday that I forgot to post.

At the ballet

Yesterday, Kira and I went to the ballet to celebrate Mother's Day and her BIRTHDAY!! At intermission, she did this!
 
Someday, on Mother's Day, I'll probably be watching her on stage!

She was speedy and a great stealer of bases.

She was smiley and slide-y and a great team player.
