This week...

This week our Coale kitty had surgery. We thought he had eaten string (again). His symptoms and the ultrasound made it look like he had. The surgery revealed no string but rather an indolent cancer. We are saddened by the news but are hopeful that the chemo will put him in remission. Chemo starts next week after he gets his stitches removed.

It sucks, but we are glad it is the slow growing cancer and not the aggressive kind. Send good kitty thoughts over for him if you can.

Note, in the pictures he is very happy sleeping on top of a heating pad and under a blanket. Poor guy is so tired.  And he's a lucky spoiled kitty!
