Catch up 2

A kind stranger offered to take a photo of the whole family on Mother's Day. Thank you kind sir! We were walking on the new overpass over 2*0. It had opened about a month before.

Why did the chicken cross the road, you ask? To get to the other side.

Rash

Natalie woke up covered with a rash from head to toe. I figured if I sent her to school, she'd be sent right home. A day of benedryl and she was a lot better.A recap of the illness: Nat missed the first two days of school and then the fourth day (due to the rash). Kira missed the first four days of school.

Here are some pictures from May. This was actually Kira's birthday. She and Tia had a ballet show that day. Here's the pink and dance-y cuteness. Someday, there will probably be a video, but who knows when!

Uncle Joe!

He came to visit. On his birthday. The girls were excited because, 1) they love Uncle Joe and 2) they love birthdays. They do NOT understand how adults don't want to see the number increase. They cannot comprehend that we would be perfectly happy to freeze the number. Anyway, here's Joe and his little birthday celebration. It was fun to see you! (Soon, we'll post pictures of Uncle Joe playing Wii golf!)

Nat's back!

To school. We missed "the first" day of school this year. Natalie was sick. So was Kira. Kira still is, but hopefully she'll be back before the end of this week.

We went to the kid amusement park for Tia's birthday. She had fun. We all did. She loved driving these little cars--we probably spent 15 minutes on this ride. There was no line so Kira and Tia could just keep riding. Here she is in the number 4 car. She chose it for obvious reasons.

Now for the Nat....

Natalie was in the big kids section of gymnastics camp. She said she wanted to be with her sisters, but she seemed to have fun in camp--though she won't admit it.

The T curl report

A couple of days after Kira did the rag rollers, Tia wanted to try. I need to document what the curls look like without curling (they are fading),see earlier reports, but with the rag rollers, she has curls! Natalie wants me to buy more rollers so all 3 can have curls at the same time.

The Kira Curl Report

It's well documented that Kira likes fancy stuff. See Exhibit A Exhibit B and Exhibit C. She learned about curlers... The kind you sleep in. She decided we must get some. I found some great "rag" rollers at Target. Here are the results.




At first it was a little too curly even for Kira.

But, by the end of the day, it was perfect!

Face Paint

I got some face paint for home use 'cause Kira liked it so much!

Here's our second attempt. It's pretty fun. I'm glad I had all those years of Theatre doing make-up in my high school and college career!
