Nat's new BFF

A fall from her scooter left her with a broken wrist. It's a "good break" it's called a buckle fracture and it should heal really fast. She's in a splint right now and we go get a cast tomorrow or Tuesday. She won't let me take pictures. More soon.

Ode to a Tree

This is my favorite tree. It's right by the girls' school. I drive by it every day during the school year. I miss it in the summer. I love its perfectly curved branches. Such a nice tree.

Our first swim meet

Warming up for the practice meet. The season starts next week. The club has the kids do a practice meet so they can learn what a meet is like before they compete against other clubs. It was super fun and nice.

The first race for Nat (yellow swim cap). It's breast stroke. She took second place for girls 9-10. I didn't get a picture before her freestyle race when she won! Go Nat!
