On Wednesday, we went to a Pumpkin Patch.

Here's one of the games the girls got to play... Gobblin' Donuts. The object of the game was to be the fastest to eat the donut off the string without touching it. Nat got first and second place; Kira got second place two times. Tia had lots of fun eating the donuts.

Last weekend

We had our school fundraiser. It's a Halloween festival and the girls got to do a "Pumpkin walk."

Decoratin' for Halloween

The girls are making decorations for the house. I'll have to take pictures of all that they have made and create a virtual tour of "haunted house." More soon.

Every morning

Every morning* we park on the same street, run down the hill and stop to cross the street here.


*Except when I am so tired I accidentally turn onto the wrong street--it is unusual but it has occurred once this year. We all felt lost!

Planetary systems

Nat drew these pictures (a year ago--2nd grade) of different planetary systems. They were hanging by her bed. She's decided it's time for new pictures, but I wanted to save a copy of them before they were recycled.


I love the names on the planets.

Smart

Natalie is gonna be very smart when she eats all of those. I'm glad it's not a giant dum-dum. Heh.

A week ago

Last weekend, the girls went to see Katie and went swimming. It's hard to believe that the weather was warm enough. Today it's not quite 60. Brrr.

Lazy Saturday

Nat makes worksheets for her sisters

For as long as Nat's been going to school, she's then been coming home and teaching her sisters. The girl loves to share knowledge. It's great, since, to teach something means you really have to understand it.

I think the worksheet may have needed better labels; it says add, but maybe subtract would have been good, too, in the label.
