Tomatoes
There are lots of tomatoes out there and soon they will be red. Did we tell you that all of our tomatoes planted themselves? The seeds that fell last summer yielded these plants (plus two more plants). Hopefully they are nice and hardy plants!
Zucchini
Garden by Nick, Natalie, and Tia
Judi cooks it mostly. Sunday night (last night) we made 4 zucchini--two were turned into zucchini fries, one was turned into zucchini hummus, and one was turned into 4 loaves of zucchini bread (Nick's specialty).

bee house
One of my Mother's Day presents was a little house for Carpenter Bees. They don't make honey but are great pollinators. Someday, when I have more time, maybe I'll have a hive. Brother Rob has 3 hives... (pictures soon).

July garden
You can see how happy the garden is!
A little tomato jewel! We have since picked it and we ate it. It was every bit as delicious as we expected.

Zucchini party
Our garden is VERY happy right now.
Look at our almost 10 pound zucchini. One of my friends said you can't put the ini part on it since it's NOT little.
We made 4 pans of roasted zucchini. It is excellent covered in spaghetti sauce.
Gluten Free Zucchini Bread (minus almost all the oil, plus chocolate chips, minus the frosting, and minus some of the flours she recommended in her recipe--we subbed tapioca flour (3/4s a cup) and increased the oat flour (a little) and almond flour (until we got the right amount of flour). It was DELICOUS!
