New backpacks and lunch boxes

Kira is very excited about her first grade stuff; she got a new lunch box and backpack! Tia got a new lunch box. In kindergarten, they have special bags that are all the same, not backpacks. Nat was more excited about her cat than her new stuff.





School starts next week..... Wah! Where did the summer go?

We're back

You probably didn't even miss us. We were visiting my (Judi's) Family 7/7 -7/12. We went to the family reunion on my Mom's side and hung out with everyone.

Swim Lesson

The first week of summer, the girls took swimming lessons. There was one other little girl taking lessons too. Nat and the other little girl were in one class and Kira and Tia were in another class. It is exciting, all three girls can swim now! Woo! Nat has mastered summersalts under water, Kira is doing well with freestyle, and Tia is a little fish!

A few weeks back

April 25 to be exact... We went to the little amusement park about 45 minutes south of our house. We bought the tickets that go on sale in the spring and let you get in the rest of the summer free. We'll be back!

It's a garden box! It's 3 x 6 feet and about a foot tall. It's lined with a mesh screen to make it gopher proof. (Do you remember a few years back that a gopher ate one of Nat's big sunflower plants? She cried and cried.

It's finally 1) nice enough weather to plant and 2) not too crazy of a weekend.
