I have no good words. We're all very sad.
We had to say goodbye to our handsome tall kitty on Saturday. The chemo wasn't working any more. We got almost 2.5 years after the lymphoma diagnosis, but no matter how much time you get, it's never enough.
We love you so much. You were into everything, you had gorgeous big ears with ear tufts, you were black with some tabby stripes, you did somersaults, you could leap tall buildings in a single bound, and you were such a love.
Your brother loves you so much. The girls love you so much. Nick and I love you so much. The house is emptier and quieter without you. We miss your thumps down the stairs. We miss your lurking around looking for string. We just miss you.
I'm sure we'll write more about you and all your adventures in the near future, but right now it's sad and we're all in pain.

Hiking!
Our beautiful hike today.
6 miles...we cut the hike a little short b/c we didn’t want to be late picking up girls, just as we got in the car and Nick started driving, the sky opened up. Perfect timing!
