Too much data

You may wonder what a dolphin picture has to do with too much data... Well, the other day I was looking for a picture. Kira and I went through A BUNCH of boxes of pictures.  I finally found the one I wanted.  I took pictures of it.  (This one wasn't what we were looking for, but I was happy to find it.)

This set of pictures is a clue to myself to look on my phone at pictures taken on 8/19 the next time Kira wants to see me in my prom dress.  I also found most of the other pictures of me wearing a formal dress and doing some high school event.  Who knows, maybe I'll put them up here someday when I have some spare time.

 

There's also this one.  Hawaii October, 2001 for our 3rd anniversay and "babymoon."  Nat was there, but it's hard to tell.  There's also one of Nick kissing our dolphin friend, but he doesn't want it on the web... I don't know why.  I love her.

Splinter

 

Tia is a little sick of me talking about the splinter she had for 2 years... but there it is.  It worked its way out this summer... It took 6 months of trying... She got a big bump on her foot, then a second one, then a third one. The pediatrician wanted to send her for surgery, but we kept putting it off...  (I originally thought it was a splinter, and the doctors kept saying it looks and feels benign.) We're very glad we put off surgery and the MRI they wanted to do.

This summer, we got to see cousins Zach and Steph for two lovely visits!  Once in Hawaii and once here at our house.  Super fun!   Come back!  We miss you!

My work also had a retreat this summer..... A selfie of me and my bestest colleague ever.  21 years!   Yes, we both started working before we were 10--that's the only way the numbers work.

It's been hard for me to blog since Hawaii... The blog is supposed to chronicle life, but the trip was stressful and I didn't really want to chronicle.  I'm working on getting back in the saddle.  I am so thankful Kelly is getting better.  We spent very little time in the water after the first day, but here Steph, Zach, Nat, and I are on the last morning.
