After the East Coast Adventures we came home and Nat and Tia had Marching Band Camp for a week.  Can you spot the two trumpet sisters?

And now, one more trip to document... This was a crazy summer, but lots of great experiences! What more can you want in a summer?

High school preview

A couple of weeks ago it was band night for the middle school at the high school. Tia will most likely be marching next year. The K family takes over the trumpet section — a freshman and senior trumpet player!

Jazz band concert

 

A couple weeks ago Nat's band played their jazz band concert at another high school in a really cool venue!  It was a stage with a dance floor and seating on 3 sides.  Cool lighting too!

She's back

She went to school on Monday (after missing 12 days of school due to illness). She played in a band concert Tuesday. She continues to catch back up at school. We're happy it's Friday. 
Here she is ignoring the camera -- she totally saw it and then wouldn't look at it.
