Surprise

When your family shows up with balloons with really large numbers on them and surprises you at your tap class... And it's not even your birthday... You start celebrating anyway... Might as well take all the appreciation you can get. I am lucky to have lots of people who love me. I just wish they'd get the age right 'cause that number can't be it.

Hike

Martin Luther King Day Hike


Kira and Nat were there... Kira took the picts, but she hasn't sent me pictures of the sweet sisters (selfies/groupfies) yet.

It was cold on the hike... like my hood?  The hillsides were so green!  There was a beautiful creek running, too.  Glad we made it out of the house and on to the trail!  (We sometimes stay inside and work too much.)

On Saturday, Tia and I played Pokemon with lots of people at Community Day.  We had a good day.

Then Judi drove Kira to the city for ballet and then we celebrated Nat's birthday for the second time -- dinner, presents and cake.

Grandpa Joe passed away 10 years ago on January 7. 
Here he was 17 years ago... That little baby is soon going to be 17!!  CRAZY!

(Also, just in terms of documentation, K and N got their wisdom teeth removed today.  Both are doing well.  Kira was more loopy from the anesthesia. Nat wanted to go to her winter percussion rehearsal tonight and willed herself to be well enough.)
