Hike (10/16) (Photo of the week 41/52)

We're making this one photo of the week for the 10/9 - 1/15 even though it was taken on 10/16. I had a cold this week and didn't feeling like doing much of anything. I was better by Sunday so we did a little hike. The judges are forgiving and let Sunday pictures count in the previous week when there's a good reason. This whole fall has been a little wacky; thank goodness the judges are kind and also accept photos taken by Nick on iPhone.

Anniversary

The girls made us this sign for our anniversary. However, they forgot to clean up the kitchen. Heh. 10/10 was the best day in 1998 and it continues to be our favorite day.

Sunday afternoon

(8/28) Kira wears the dress I wore on the first day of 2nd grade, Tia wears the kindergarten dress and Nat wears a blue dress that I never wore. Grandma F would have loved to see this picture. Hopefully, she still has access to a Mac and the Internet.

Dance Dance Revolution (DDR)

Last weekend, they got up, dressed in similar outfits and started playing DDR. They've all gotten pretty good at it. At the start of the day, Kira and Tia were getting Cs and by the end, they were getting As! (Last year, a C was rarely earned by Kira and Tia. Nat was getting As last year, double As, too.) I love it when we see evidence of learning and development.
