There was soooooo much snow!

 

Our hotel was on "Cold Stream Road."  Wonder why!

The girls and I went skiing! W-F ... got back last night. 

(Nick stayed home with his broken foot. Poor guy! When I asked if he wanted to go with us to just hang out he looked at me and said "crutches, snow?" The kitties were happy he stayed home.)

There was sooooo much snow! The drifts were 6-12 feet and there were snow tunnels (no roof, just walls of snow) that you had to drive in.

I missed the entrance to get on the freeway from our hotel EVERY time because I couldn't see where the entrance was. Crazy! It snowed on each day we skied. We had SUPER fresh powder.

Natalie made me some delicious chocolate peanut butter bites for Valentine's Day.  They were superb!  We'll add a recipe some day.  (Most likely.)

I'm not sure if I ever posted these...

Coale

On Sunday, Nick and Tia made to Coale some stairs on the wall to climb into her loft bed. They look good!  Coale can climb up her ladder, but this is more fun for a kitty!

Tia used a circular saw to cut the boards and then they covered the boards with carpet. We didn't get any pictures of Tia with the circular saw -- Nick was too busy supervising the use of dangerous equipment.

Coale is doing okay at the moment.  We had to switch his chemo (2/11) and after the first week, we think he's doing better.  We love our Coale cat. 

Not a lake

 

This is an area on a hike that we go on that used to flood all the time, and then we had a drought.  We haven't seen it this full for a while.

It's called 'bouldering' when you only climb as high as you can touch.  They let the girls do that without a safety rope.
