Ballet Picts
Our ballerina needed some photos for upcoming auditions... The kitties helped.
Buddy dances with Kira.
(Yes, we moved some furniture and pictures in the family room to get a blank wall, but then we moved outside for better lighting. More pictures coming soon.)
(Also, just in terms of documentation, K and N got their wisdom teeth removed today. Both are doing well. Kira was more loopy from the anesthesia. Nat wanted to go to her winter percussion rehearsal tonight and willed herself to be well enough.)

Balance
This is from 8/2016 after the last 5K we ran. The girls show tremendous balance. I've always loved this picture and I don't know why I haven't posted it before. (I'm pretty sure I haven't posted it before.)
Commentary: it's a little ironic 'cause we have no balance right now. Or maybe it's just me. I anticipate that things will get less crazy by mid April. Remember when I took that new job? I knew I would love it. I knew I would get to do new things and learn a lot. I knew it would be insane for a while. Yup. That's where we are. Life is good. Life is full. Life might be a little too full for me. Fortunately, Nick is very balanced and the girls are super good at being in charge of and responsible for their work, and fortunately we have have Chelsea helping us do all the crazy things we do.
Also, Nono's foot isn't healed yet. Things will be crazy with him for a little bit more. Think good kitty thoughts for him.

Cone.
Poor Nono... he has an abscess on his foot and they had to do a little procedure to help it. Poor guy! 10 days of cone most likely... He is not happy.

In case you're worried
but you haven't wanted to say anything, but you think I don't feature the kitties on the blog as much as I should, check out:
https://www.instagram.com/virtualblackcatz/
They are covered -- all black cats, all the time.
I have taken some of those pictures but some are by the girls.

Cats and cubes
Here you can see Nat taking the same picture as the one I took yesterday. You can also see Tia's cube obsession. She loves her cubes (and some not even cube shaped).

Helping
Nono and Coale help Nick by sitting on the heating pad.
Purring is supposed to be helpful for many ailments.
