Ladybug, ladybug

 


We got ladybugs to eat aphids in our garden... (and to lay eggs so we could get larvae who really like to eat aphids). However, many of our ladybugs flew away. They were EVERYWHERE when they were released. Note to us, next time, release them at night. 

Sewing Camp 2014

Friday night. The Beast is tired.

Where is he?

 

When Coale was at the hospital, his brother spent a lot of time looking for him. His brother was convinced that Coale was in the kitty carrier and kept asking me to open the door to the storage room so he could check the kitty carrier. His brother missed him. Buddy missed him, too. He would HOWL at midnight looking for his friend to play (no photo of that).

It's almost been 2 weeks. He doesn't have to wear the cone of shame if we're with him.

Once a year! (I don't think we got a picture of last year's swim, but we were on vacation, at KJ's family's house, if I remember correctly.) Thanks for the pictures, Larry!

Here's a Mosaic from Nick's Elementary School made for the Bicentennial. Nick said all the K siblings worked on it. Tia was at softball camp at the school this week; it was fun to see where Dad had gone to school when he was a wee one.

Home from camp

This year, Nat decided she'd go to girl scout camp with her friends. A week of horses and kayaking. She's back! We missed her. Especially her boy, Buddy! (He and I had discussions about who missed her more.)
