L is for letters

Tia started preschool and promptly became VERY interested in learning letters. She is constantly drawing them and making them. Above you see her making a T with a fork and knife.



Below you see some writing she did yesterday (Wednesday).

A new piece of jewelry

Kira made it for me at preschool.  I love it!  It was pre-licked by Tia too.  What could be better?

The fine arts

At preschool, Kira drew the 14-year-old dancer by Degas. You can see the sculpture and Kira's drawing of it below.

Have I mentioned that I love our preschool?

Preschool!

Miss Kira started preschool for the fall. She was very excited. She was off for about a month and was ready to go back! Kira has always liked to go places. We decided she was ready for preschool 5 days a week. On day 2, she seems delighted by the prospect of going everyday.

The preschool does a fabulous job with the kids and they learn so much. Natalie learned how to read last year. They learn lots of songs and do fabulous art projects. We're really excited Kira is there.
