We took a hike at the beginning of the year.

We won't discuss the fact that Judi ended up in a different location (with Nat and Tia) than Nick.  A lyft may/may not have been involved.  It was a GREAT hike.  Seriously--a beautiful six miles on a gorgeous day!

Our beautiful hike today.

 

6 miles...we cut the hike a little short b/c we didn’t want to be late picking up girls, just as we got in the car and Nick started driving, the sky opened up. Perfect timing!

At my favorite hiking spot.  Afterwards we got tea (or at least I did) and we sat on the Beach.  Lovely day with my favorite guy!

Our annual National Park Hike

 
We went on a hike last week (a week ago we had no broken bones!) and we found a swarm of ladybugs.  Nick got this shot, too. More pictures soon.

A poodle pack

On the hike, Blackberry, their little poodle, rode in the backpack. This was the first time Blackberry had done this and it looks like she kind of likes it. She didn't ride very far. She's so little and she runs so fast. She (usually) hikes twice as far as the humans. (She runs ahead and comes back to check on us and then runs ahead... So cute!)
