3

This was from I was away at the beginning of June and face timing with them.  I have another picture of the blond boy.  He didn't quite fit on this screen in this picture.  I missed my family when I was gone.

Packing cat

He's helping her pack for camp, saying he doesn't want her to go, or saying he wants to go...Not sure.

track and field

April and May were a little crazy and I didn't even get a chance to tell you Kira did track and field.

She did long jump for part of the season and high jump the whole season.  She made it to county!  At one point, she proudly told me she was exercising almost 20 hours a week.  (Dancing 7.5 + PE 5 + Track 4-9 depending on the week)

Good job, Kira!

I forgot to say, awesome photo by my brother, Joe!  Thanks Joe for everything!

Twins?

Last night, Tia and Nick went to a baseball game. Tia got to play the National Anthem with the school band and then they watched the home team win in an exciting game!

The big screen

The girls and I got to watch Nick on the big screen when he gave his talk for work. The talk was broadcast (on the private network); it was so fun to see him give such a great talk. He looks good up there!

Tomatoes

There are lots of tomatoes out there and soon they will be red.  Did we tell you that all of our tomatoes planted themselves?  The seeds that fell last summer yielded these plants (plus two more plants).  Hopefully they are nice and hardy plants!

Zucchini

Garden by Nick, Natalie, and Tia

Judi cooks it mostly. Sunday night (last night) we made 4 zucchini--two were turned into zucchini fries, one was turned into zucchini hummus, and one was turned into 4 loaves of zucchini bread (Nick's specialty).

8th grade promotion

Just a few hours ago.  Yay, Natalie!

The queen and her subjects

We get to take care of our neighbor's kitty this weekend.  I think the girls like her.

Dr. F goes to Washington

Fabulous conference for work this last weekend... Two dance shows on Saturday until 6:30 pm and then a red-eye for the conference that started Sunday morning at 8 am in DC. It was completely insane, and a blur, but thankfully it all worked and no planes were late (to the conference). The conference involved a lot of great people (170 or so of them) and we have lots of good work to continue!

Muffins

Natalie has perfected her chocolate chip muffins!  These cute little silicone muffin liners are awesome.  The dishwasher doesn't like them, but the cook does. They were a mother's day present.  I'll follow up with her recipe on our food blog soon.

bee house

One of my Mother's Day presents was a little house for Carpenter Bees.  They don't make honey but are great pollinators.  Someday, when I have more time, maybe I'll have a hive.  Brother Rob has 3 hives... (pictures soon).

Sweet boy!

One of the pictures in the book.  Could he get any sweeter?  Love his tilted in head!
