About a year ago -- actually end of February.  Kira and I stopped and got ice cream.  She had just gotten her learner's permit for driving. We were celebrating.

University visit

Last Saturday, we went to see a friend and get a tour at one of the schools Nat applied to for next year.  The girls we visited turned 19 on the day we visited.  Super day of birthday fun, sushi (vegan for us), and shopping.

It rained a lot during our tour.  Despite the rain, a fun day!

C18

I found another picture from graduation this year.  Joey!  I met Joey in 2012 in C18.   Joey became a good friend.  I need to send him an email!

Middle school work

I thought I had posted these pictures of K's middle school going on a field trip... Well, the organization comes to them and they go into the library.  They learned more about earthquakes, engineering, and materials this day.

Ballet

At the new studio, once a year, I will get to watch a ballet class of Kira's. They do have performances, but this is class.

Here she is putting on her pointe shoes. Super fun. It's great seeing her learning.

Tia flies!

The pilots learned of her love of planes and engineering and brought her to the cockpit to help (pre-flight). They were super nice! (This was on our way to see the K____ family up north.)

Learning to ski

One of my favorite shots as they learned to ski.

And a few short hours they are going up the mountain and getting off the lifts!

Planes!

He's an aeronautical engineer and she loves planes! She had so many questions for him! She got out her planes and asked design questions and history questions. They talked for hours about planes!
